Why do we lust?

My brothers and sisters this world is completely corrupted. The enemy has perverted our Fathers creation. It is very complex but I can explain it. Unconsciously we have a variety of different natural desires and they play roles in our behavior.
Its this simple, When you were younger( assuming you lived a traditional life where your parents or parent tried to teach you simple responsibility) your parent/parents taught you responsibility by giving you a set of expectations then when you met those you would get a reward, and if you didn't you got punished. lets use the chore and allowance scenario. If you complete your chores you get money. So you have a teenage social life right? You want to go to the movies with your friends. (social-desire)
As a consequence you do what it takes to satisfy that desire.  Here are some common desires: achievement, acceptance, material, identity, and sexual. I don't want to make this too complicated, but i'm going to explain what has been revealed to me.
To begin with I want to type about the first three. To be accepted by a culture, you have to fit in to what is generally accepted, otherwise known as the norm. The enemy is manipulating that norm with television, radio, and word-of-mouth by appealing to people's other motives such as materiel and achievement motivation. The ultimate unconscious goals for us as humans is to find out who we are, then reproduce.
I have have come to the conclusion that becoming self-aware is being reborn in the spirit. does that mean that everyone who is reborn are children of God? No, You can become self-aware and work for the enemy. This is why Lucifer is considered a guiding light bringing light to the darkness. He is self -aware but has been consumed by fear, and pride. He has decided he is equal as God, and has been cast out of eternal life into eternal death for perverting the kingdom. All of his followers went with him.  Satan does not care for knowledge or others only himself and his desires.

1 John 2:16 For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world

Romans 8:6 The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.

Matthew 16:23 Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.

15 Some people are like seed along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satancomes and takes away the word that was sown in them.

3 Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land?

18 to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.
5 hand this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord.
5 Do not deprive each other except perhaps by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.
15 Some have in fact already turned away to follow Satan.
So Satan has manipulated these desires, and has caused the behavior to achieve specific desires to fall outside the the behavior of achieving another for example: you have a desire to be accepted but your friends don't think its an achievement to learn new things. They start treating you like someone that they wouldn't hang out with. In this way the enemy can manipulate your achievement motive and acceptance motive to control your behavior. you may have had those friends for 10 years and just found God

15 Some people are like seed along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satancomes and takes away the word that was sown in them.
your meant to love, and have friends. Satan has perverted these motives. that is why its important to be in one accord directed by the goal of fulfilling God's will. Now as for sexual desire its also normal but is not meant to be satisfied.
1 Corinthians 6:18-20 - Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
Matthew 19:10
10 His followers said to Him, “If that is the way of a man with his wife, it is better not to be married.” 11 But Jesus said to them, “Not all men are able to do this, but only those to whom it has been given. 12 For there are some men who from birth will never be able to have children. There are some men who have been made so by men. There are some men who have had themselves made that way because of the holy nation of heaven. The one who is able to do this, let him do it.”
Your lusting is evidence that your testosterone is rising. testosterone is what builds muscle.
Genesis 3:17-19
17 Then God said to the man, “You listened to what your wife said, and you ate fruit from the tree from which I commanded you not to eat.
“So I will put a curse on the ground,
and you will have to work very hard for your food.
In pain you will eat its food
all the days of your life.
18 The ground will produce thorns and weeds for you,
and you will eat the plants of the field.
19 You will sweat and work hard for your food.
Later you will return to the ground,
because you were taken from it.
You are dust,
and when you die, you will return to the dust.”

Since we listened to women we are now cursed to expended this urge in physical activity or be delivered into the hands of the enemy. Sex is good wonderful thing meant for the creation of another human being. That is it.

The Science Of Lust (Full Documentary) search for this on youtube

It explains the purpose and how to overcome it with love. I tried to be simple as possible. Much love to all you read for growth in the spirit. Also I will finish the Investigation on the evidence of scientific knowledge with in the commandments next week.

Apologies

For the small audience that I may have intrigued I must inform you that I will not be finishing the study on the commandments this week.
I have been plagued by a sin. I can overcome but I must do that before I can post anything further.  I love knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. Knowledge is power, but with great power come great responsibility. I gain knowledge everyday, and the closer I get to the light the bigger my shadow becomes. I've been pushing this to side because it hasn't been as bad or happening as often, but it's getting worse. I'm not sure why I'm being tempted this way, but my heart, mind, and body is in awe of God. I'm thankful for this trial, and I hope you all understand it is not my intention to be accepted or gain any type of praise, but it definitely isn't to go against what I do intend to do. I give all glory to God, and I refuse to lead anyone astray.

1 Corinthians 10:13 - There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it].

I sincerely apologize and hope you may forgive me.

The Science and Divine Knowledge within the Commandments

"Children in whom was no blemish, but well favored, and skillful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans."
--Daniel 1:4
kjv

"O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen."

1 Timothy 6:20-21King James Version (KJV)
The commandments of God are more than just laws that were ordained for us Christians to be seen a certain way by man, or to test our faith. They are divine knowledge, for our benefit and health as Christians so we can grow in the mind and feelings (spirit), and overcome evil(things that are morally wrong). Gods will is for us to be complete in our joy, and to destroy sin. unbelievers would say, " If God exist and created everything why cant he just snap his fingers and wala make everything the way he wants it.
"How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge"
God gave us free will, and if he done that we wouldn't have free will. See he made us in his image, and we were all meant to be his children. When you have a child and it grows up to be unpleasant and ignorant, do you just kill it and create another one? No, and we are created in his image so we can understand it that way.

And the LORD God said, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever."
niv Genesis  3:22

lets look at the definition of "god". Since all language is man made, and our bibles were not originally English but were translated to fit the definition of a word in our language.
God : a spirit or being that has great power, strength, knowledge, etc., and that can affect nature and the lives of people : one of various spirits or beings worshipped in some religions
So now that we know where were at in that time spiritually. lets look at the commandments he bestowed on us years after that. Which was after the flood, and to the decedents of Noah, Which is particularly important. (That is an entirely different investigation of scripture that Ill be covering the week after next week.)

Exodus 20:3-17King James Version (KJV)
1) Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

  1. God : a spirit or being that has great power, strength, knowledge, etc., and that can affect nature and the lives of people : one of various spirits or beings worshipped in some religions
  2. Deep love and awe of a god, that is a human, like the president or any body with money and influence will lead you astray, because these people are not interested if you live a great life, or not. There only interest, most of the time,  is in the affair of money. This is also a human invention, and a tool for great deception.
  3. Social Psychology

Social psychology is the study of the cognitive and social processes that underlie individuals' perceptions of, influence over, and interactions with other people. As one of the top social psychology graduate programs in the country, Indiana University - Bloomington trains Ph.D. students in theory and research methods, in preparation for academic or nonacademic careers. http://psych.indiana.edu/social.php
  4.  1 Timothy 6:10 [Full Chapter] (KJV)
"For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
2) Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

  1. grav·en im·age -a carved idol or representation of a god used as an object of worship
  2. In psychology, social psychology is the scientific study of how people's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are influenced by the actual, imagined, or implied presence of others.[1] In this definition, scientific refers to the empirical method of investigation. The terms thoughts, feelings, and behaviors include all psychological variables that are measurable in a human being. The statement that others' presence may be imagined or implied suggests that we are prone to social influence even when no other people are present, such as when watching television, or following internalized cultural norms. Social psychologists typically explain human behavior as a result of the interaction of mental states and immediate social situations.
  3. Out sight out of mind is what I say.

2) Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me
And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

  1. Inequity-lack of fairness or justice:
  2. God is simply telling you that if you bow down and serve them you will reap what you sow. To be more precise Our Father is telling us that if we serve these gods we will multiply the evil on the earth, and it will cause our children to be treated unfairly. Your children look up to you, and will follow, and seek your approval.
  3.

    Stages of moral development

Piaget claimed that logic and morality develop through constructive stages. Expanding on Piaget's work, Lawrence Kohlberg determined that the process of moral development was principally concerned with justice, and that it continued throughout the individual's lifetime.]
He suggested three levels of moral reasoning; preconventional moral reasoning, conventional moral reasoning, and postconventional moral reasoning. Preconventional moral reasoning is typical of children and is characterized by reasoning that is based on rewards and punishments associated with different courses of action. Conventional moral reason occurs during late childhood and early adolescence and is characterized by reasoning based on rules and conventions of society. Lastly, postconventional moral reasoning is a stage during which the individual sees society's rules and conventions as relative and subjective, rather than as authoritative.
Kohlberg used the Heinz Dilemma to apply to his stages of moral development. The Heinz Dilemma involves Heinz's wife dying from cancer and Heinz having the dilemma to save his wife by stealing a drug. Preconventional morality, conventional morality, and postconventional morality applies to Heinz's situation

3)Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

  1. Vain-producing no result; useless:
  2.  God wants us to come to a resolution that is fruitful when using his name. When addressing God it should not be void of true meaning, and if it is he will convict you of guilt.

I will finish the last 7 commandments for next week. It'll be posted by Sunday, March 13th 2016

I pray that peace be upon the ones who read these for understanding, and may God bless those who tell others.
Amen.
